It’s campaign season for Denver artist F.L. of the Foodchain as we wrap up 2014. The MC released Young Amsterdam on 4/20 and since then has been building the movement as the ambassador of the Mile High City’s favorite herb. Not only does F.L. craft catchy songs with intricate rhymes over progressive rhythms, he brings an artful perspective to the weed smoker’s movement.
F.L. (aka Jayce Cabell) has partnered with Red Bull for the energy drink’s prestigious Sound Select program. Red Bull Sound Select is designed to provide support to artists in untapped markets who present creative stamina and a strong collective movement. “Young Amsterdam” is more than a nickname for Denver and one of the city’s best album releases this year. F.L. is honing his live performance and collaborative opportunities to offer a sophisticated persona to the life of a smoker.
The two hottest singles from Young Amsterdam will have videos that accompany their moving style and substance. The release will happen in a two-part series that continue F.L.’s “smokeout” theme. The video for “Cameras” will be released on November 20th, 2014 at Green Labs, Denver’s marijuana think tank space for an official smokeout session.
